My Favourite Date Night Restaurants in London

Countdown to Valentines Day is now on and although I will sadly be working that evening, there is no question I get more than where would I suggest to go on a date.

As its a special occasion, I’ve pulled out the big guns…

#1 Bokan

It’s been a while but Bokan still has a place in my heart which is saying something as I barely ever travel to East London. With stunning views over the city and an amazing seasonal menu, this restaurant is sure to impress that special someone.

#2 Chino Latino

Live music, a view over the Thames and stunning pan-asian food, what more could you ask for? I have visited Chino Latino twice and both times been hugely impressed with the food and service plus the escalator on the way up to the restaurant is really something.

I don't know if I got enough sushi? ๐Ÿฃ @chinolatinoeu did say it was bottomless after all #invite . . This is my second time back at Chino Latino in the Riverbank @parkplaza in Vauxhall and it's just as great as the first! I was invited to try the newly relaunched bottomless brunch which ranges from ยฃ35-ยฃ55 for unlimited sushi and your choice of main (an additional ยฃ20 for bottomless drinks option!). . The price tag is definitely a bit higher however we all know how pricey sushi can be so I have full faith in everyone making it back on the sushi bar alone ๐Ÿ˜ Mains-wise we chose the black cod and 300g steak on hot rocks which are both on the ยฃ55 menu. Both were fabulous and a lot of food so don't make the same mistake as me and eat too much sushi beforehand..or maybe do.. I have no regrets. Love, Juti x . . #3 La Bodegra Negra

I always recommend La Bodegra Negra mainly because I love Mexican food and to find an intimate and romantic restaurant beneath the Sex Shop exterior is a great surprise. This ones for the tequila lovers.

#4 Galley London

Gorgeous interiors, freshly cooked seafood, I mean, they do say oysters are an aphrodisiac and Galley in Angel has a great selection. Amazing service and a very attentive team who clearly know their menu will leave you ealing in love with this restaurant when you leave.

#5 Duck and Rice

I love asian food and I sometimes find it hard to find somewhere that has a good balance of nice asian food and also nice interiors without having to spend a huge amount of money. Although Duck and Rice is slightly more expensive than your usual Chinatown find, I feel the interiors and menu options give a lot of variety and also make it perfectly intimate for date night. Plus its in the centre of Soho so easy to get to after work with views over the surrounding streets.

Ate at @theduckandrice and me and @stephyttravels are now starting a #dimsumbrunchclub – who's in? Tag your dim sum buddy below and any restaurant suggestions are welcome but this will be hard to beat! Love, Juti x #invite . . First stop @theduckandrice – lovely restaurant which nailed the duck and rice! (Would be pretty embarrassing if they didn't) Favourites include the XO turnip cake, duck and rice and sweet and sour mock duck which is vegan! Be prepared to pay around double the price if not more than your usual dimsum spots in China town but still lovely for a special occasion or get together โœจ . .
