My Favourite Date Night Restaurants in London

Countdown to Valentines Day is now on and although I will sadly be working that evening, there is no question I get more than where would I suggest to go on a date.

As its a special occasion, I’ve pulled out the big guns…

#1 Bokan

It’s been a while but Bokan still has a place in my heart which is saying something as I barely ever travel to East London. With stunning views over the city and an amazing seasonal menu, this restaurant is sure to impress that special someone.

#2 Chino Latino

Live music, a view over the Thames and stunning pan-asian food, what more could you ask for? I have visited Chino Latino twice and both times been hugely impressed with the food and service plus the escalator on the way up to the restaurant is really something.

#3 La Bodegra Negra

I always recommend La Bodegra Negra mainly because I love Mexican food and to find an intimate and romantic restaurant beneath the Sex Shop exterior is a great surprise. This ones for the tequila lovers.

#4 Galley London

Gorgeous interiors, freshly cooked seafood, I mean, they do say oysters are an aphrodisiac and Galley in Angel has a great selection. Amazing service and a very attentive team who clearly know their menu will leave you ealing in love with this restaurant when you leave.

#5 Duck and Rice

I love asian food and I sometimes find it hard to find somewhere that has a good balance of nice asian food and also nice interiors without having to spend a huge amount of money. Although Duck and Rice is slightly more expensive than your usual Chinatown find, I feel the interiors and menu options give a lot of variety and also make it perfectly intimate for date night. Plus its in the centre of Soho so easy to get to after work with views over the surrounding streets.
